To update the operating system on your Chromebook, go through the following steps.

1) Click on the the time in the bottom right corner

3) From the settings window that now opens, navigate to the bottom of the left bar and select "About Chrome OS"

4) In the top section you will see the current version number, select the "Check for updates" button to check for and begin downloading updates if available.
